Discard Piling Up? Try These!

Hey y'all!

I've chatted about this a little bit recently, but I know how quickly this can become a problem, so I wanted to share even more ideas!

If your potato flake sourdough jar is overflowing with discard, don’t throw it away—put it to good use! Here are some easy ways to make the most of every drop:

🥞 Make Quick & Easy Breakfasts – Whip up fluffy pancakes, waffles, or muffins. They freeze beautifully for busy mornings!
🍪 Bake a Sweet Treat – Potato flake sourdough discard brownies, scones, or cookies!
🧒 Kids Snacks – Try discard in wheat crackers, graham crackers or cereal bars for extra flavor.
🐶 Treat Your Pup – Homemade sourdough dog treats are an easy, healthy way to use up extra discard.

Don't need any more baked good for yourself? You can still bake something to make gifts for others!

Think of someone who you want to say thank you to, or someone who you want to let them know you care. Bake them something delicious, it is sure to brighten their day!
